Hi again and welcome to my blog. I appreciate everyone of you that comes to read my blog and leave me some good feed backs, it seriously makes my day. Thank you again.
In this post I will tell you a little bit about my journey in Sweden and things we did to survive there, lol.
So, I have always told myself I want to go to Sweden, Stockholm but I didn’t want to go alone. So I asked a friend and she was so in! So, we bought the tickets, took the plain (because in no way I would spent 8h in a boat) and went to Stockholm, Sweden.
And when we arrived at the Arlanda airport, we took an express buss that took us to our hotel. The funny thing was, when we got off from the buss I heard a very scary voice and I look up… there was a freaking plain landing or taking off,,… We were in Bromma and there was a airport close to our hotel !!! smh… Our hotel was an hour away from our airport (Arlanda) and Veeeery close to Brommas airport.
So my advice for you is; Always look how far the hotel is and also look if the country has other airports stations too.
So on Saturday we woke up really early, ate breakfast then went to quick shopping. All I wanted to buy was a FentyBeauty foundation, I bought one but I think I have to go buy another one..
It was 10am when we went to the city (Kungsträdgården). We took the subway and thanks to google maps we didn’t get lost. And also, a lot of people spoke very well English and they were so willing to help us, that made our trip also very easy and safe.
One thing I noticed, there was a lot of restaurants but they all where pretty much empty. Maybe it was because everybody was out of town or it was just because it was 10AM..
To be able to take a subway or a buss you need a ticket, So we did buy an 24h no limit ticket, it was only 99sek, not bad actually for someone that lives in Finland. Oh, and this is my first time in Sweden, in case I didn’t mention it earlier.
So our plan of the day was; A boat trip under the bridges. We went to see some sights. It was a really sunny and the sun burn my whole body. Luckily I brought a hat before the trip because my face is really sensitive to the sun.
So we were able to see Stockholm and get to know a little bit ’bout this citys history. It was so interesting, I really enjoyed .
Oh and if you are planning to take this same trip, remember to buy; snacks and drinks, a hat and a sun cream.
We saw a lot of people, beaches, boats, restaurants, houses, trees etc. What I really enjoyed was that there was a lot of trees, it was really clean and a little bit different from Helsinki. People told me Sweden is just like Finland but that’s not true! (The houses there are more taller, same goes to people, they are really tall lol)
Then after 2,5h we went back to the city, walked a little. Did the window shopping then we went to eat at the Fu-Do Asian restaurant. I was a little bit scared that the foods would be a little expensive there but they were okay, not expensive neither cheap.
And on our way back, we bought ice creams and went back to our hotel. And the next day was Sunday and it was time to go back home :(.
